While ContentCal is most commonly used for scheduling content to channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, you can also add extra sections to your channel to turn ContentCal into a complete Digital Marketing hub. You can also name these channels whatever you please such as ‘Blogs’, ‘Emails’, ‘Thought Leaderships’, ‘Newsletters’, etc.

Many of our customers make use of our custom planning channels enabling them to take ContentCal to the next level. By keeping all Digital Marketing aspects within the ContentCal platform, not only will you achieve (as the kids would say) ‘organisation goals’, you’ll also continue to make things simple when it comes to team collaboration, visibility, and overall productivity.

You can set-up your own custom channels by going into ‘Settings’ then ‘Calendars’, and then selecting ‘Edit’ by the calendar you want to add custom channels to. Alternatively you can also use the ‘Edit Calendar Settings’ shortcut from within the ‘Actions’ drop-down menu within the ‘Publish’ area of your calendar.
